C – Adullam House – March Mission Focus
March Mission Focus
Adullam House, founded in 1994 by Pete and Angie Spackman, is an organization that rescues at-risk children from neglect and abuse. For some it provides a temporary home, but for others it’s a brand new permanent home. All of the children receive a loving, nurturing, Christian family. The children also receive help with their spiritual, educational, and social development. Many of the children come to Adullam House from incarcerated mothers at Julia Tutwiler Prison, which is just down the road. Adullam House does not receive any federal or state funding. They operate solely on the generous support of churches and families like ours. Our mission focus this month will be collecting the following items listed below:
- Baby diapers – Only Size 5 ($4.42)
- Dr. Brown baby bottles – 9 oz. for the babies who have gas or acid reflux
(2 – 9 oz. bottles for $11.86 or 2 – 8oz. bottles for $9.54)
- Wall Hook Rack for hanging coats and jackets (You can purchase a 4 hook rack for $15.44 or $17.84 or a 6 hook rack for $22.84)
These items and prices can be found at Walmart.
Please leave your items in the depot. If you are unable to purchase the items yourself but would like to donate, leave your financial donation in the box in the mission depot, and we will shop for you.
The deadline for collecting these items is Sunday, March 29.
