Clothes Closet Ministry

Rainbow City First United Methodist Church maintains a Clothes Closet for the community. Gently worn items are organized by size and gender for easy distribution on the last Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers spend many hours in preparation for each Clothes Closet Saturday. They process newly donated items, swap clothes out seasonally, replenish the racks, and help our clients find their needs. Each client may select 6 items of clothing each month. All items are free. Clients are greeted by volunteers ready to listen, pray, and share their love.
