Toys Under the Rainbow
Christmas is coming! Our depot will become the collection site for toys for children from birth to fifteen years old. Toys Under the Rainbow, a Christmas assistance program, helps less fortunate families and children in Rainbow City. Our church has supported this outreach program for years and the police/fire departments are always so grateful for our help.
Please bring your new, unwrapped toy and leave in the depot this month. Remember to think of ages from 0 to 15 as you select your gifts. There is always a need for bicycles, so you may want to partner with a friend to purchase a more expensive item. Bring a smile to a child’s face this Christmas season!
If you know of anyone needing assistance, an application may be picked up at the Rainbow City Police/Fire Dispatch Office.
Other Missions in December
- White Christmas donations go to United Methodist Children’s Homes.
- Hats, scarves, and gloves are collected and distributed at the Cathedral of Praise Soup Kitchen.
